The Portland (Ore.) Youth Philharmonic has appointed NOREEN MURDOCK executive director, effective February 16. She will succeed KIRI MURAKAMI-LOEHMANN, who has held the post since August 2014 and is relocating to San Jose, Calif. Murdock is currently development director of Chamber Music Northwest in Portland, and served formerly as executive director of the Salem (Ore.) Chamber Orchestra. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music and an MBA from Oregon’s Willamette University.
