The Brunswick Music Festival in Maine has announced the appointment of KATHERINE LEHMAN as executive director. She goes to Brunswick from Tennessee’s Sewanee Summer Music Festival, where she has been executive director for the past six years. A professional violinist who has served on the faculty at University of the South in Sewanee and performed with the Nashville (Tenn.) and South Bend (Ind.) symphony orchestras, Lehman holds a bachelor’s degree in violin performance from the University of Kansas and a master’s from Northwestern University.
