The San Antonio Symphony will offer free Friday evening simulcasts of its March 25, April 15, and June 3 Tobin Center concerts, with simulcasts shown on a 30-foot video wall at the Tobin Center’s River Walk Plaza and audiences invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Music Director Sebastian Lang-Lessing will lead the March 25 and June 3 concerts, the former featuring music by Berlioz, Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninoff, and the latter Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 (“Titan”) and the Beethoven Violin Concerto, with soloist Austin Hadelich. Akiko Fujimoto will lead the April 15 annual Fiesta Pops concert, also featuring the Mariachi Campanas de America, the Guadalupe Dance Company, and 13-year-old singer Isabel Marie Sanchez.
