The Sun Valley (Idaho) Summer Symphony has appointed JENNY KRUEGER executive director, effective June 1. Krueger goes to Sun Valley from the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and Conservatory of Music in Lafayette, La., where she recently stepped down as executive director. Prior to joining the Acadiana Symphony in 2010 she was events coordinator and fundraiser for the Seth Foundation in Broussard, La., and taught music in elementary, middle, and high schools. A professional flutist, Krueger holds a bachelor’s degree in music from New Mexico State University and studied at the Aspen Music Institute and at Mannes College the New School for Music in New York City.
