NOVUS NY, established in 2011 as a resident orchestra of Trinity Wall Street in New York City, has appointed KATIE HYUN concertmaster. Hyun is founder and artistic director of the Quodlibet Ensemble, and was a founding member of the Amphion String Quartet. She has performed on Baroque violin with Trinity Wall Street’s Trinity Baroque Orchestra and appeared as soloist with such ensembles as the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Houston Symphony, and South Korea’s Incheon Philharmonic. Hyun is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, the Yale School of Music, and the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
