“Opera Fort Collins has a new executive director in Elizabeth Telling, an English-horn player in the Knoxville and Colorado symphonies and president of Classical Revolution Northern Colorado, which performs in non-traditional places in Northern Colorado,” writes Robert Egerton in Wednesday’s (5/11) MusicalAmerica.com. “She succeeds Vicki Fogel Mykles, who retired last fall after eight years. Telling arrives after the company’s final production, Otello, on June 3. OFC’s 36th season also included Cosi fan tutte and Daughter of the Regiment. Opera Fort Collins’s artistic director of five years is Brian Clay Luedloff; its music director is Wes Kenney, who also oversees the Fort Collins Symphony, which serves as the opera company’s ensemble.”
