To commemorate its 85th-anniversary season, Wisconsin’s Racine Symphony Orchestra is holding a poster contest for Racine County students in first through eighth grade. The submission deadline is May 20. Two winners will be selected, with the first-place winner receiving $125 and the runner-up receiving $75. Entrants are encouraged to incorporate designs reflecting the orchestra’s impact on the Racine community during its 85 years. Designs must be no larger than 16 x 20 inches; must be one-dimensional; and cannot use copyrighted or trademark symbols. For more information, email Mary Beth Mirut at mbmikrut@gmail.com.
