The Chicago Sinfonietta has announced a two-year renewal of MEI-ANN CHEN’s contract as music director; the new agreement extends her tenure through the 2018-19 season. Chen has led the Sinfonietta since 2011, and recently concluded her tenure as music director of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.
