Baltimore Symphony Orchestra President and CEO Paul Meecham has announced the appointment of TONYA McBRIDE ROBLES as vice president and general manager, effective August 1, 2016. Robles is currently executive director of Concert Artists of Baltimore. Previous posts include executive director, City Choir of Washington (D.C.); managing director, Metropolitan Chorus (Arlington, Va.); executive director, Annapolis (Md.) Symphony Orchestra; and education and outreach director, San Antonio (Tex.) Symphony. A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, Robles holds a Master of Public Administration degree from University of Maryland University College (Rota, Spain). She began her administrative career as youth programs coordinator for the Baltimore Symphony.
