The El Paso (Tex.) Symphony Orchestra Association has announced that ANDRES (ANDY) MORAN will step down this summer from his posts as resident conductor of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra (EPSO) and music director of its affiliated youth organization, El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestras. He has been named director of orchestras and professor of horn at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, effective in August. A native of El Paso, Moran was named music director of the youth orchestra in 2009, and has served as resident conductor of EPSO since 2012.
