The New Haven (Conn.) Symphony Orchestra has assembled a search committee to select a successor to Music Director WILLIAM BOUGHTON, who will be stepping down in May 2019 following a twelve-year tenure. The new music director will be chosen prior to the orchestra’s 2018-19 season, and will assume the post officially in the 2019-20 season. Finalists for the music director post will each be invited to lead a concert by the orchestra during its 2017-18 season.
