LEE CIOPPA has been named dean of the Conservatory of Music at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, effective August 1, 2016. She goes to Colburn from the Juilliard School, where she has been associate dean of admissions since 2003. Her career in higher education began at New York’s Manhattan School of Music, where served as director of admissions. Cioppa holds a master’s degree in oboe from MSM and a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Ottawa in Canada.
