As part of its blog series highlighting key issues in the arts, the California-based James Irvine Foundation has launched an online resource for arts organizations aiming to attain diverse and inclusive boards of directors. The site includes tips, commentary, metrics, and more from arts managers and board members, and offers tangible next steps for arts organizations at all stages of the process of building board diversity. Among the contributors are Pacific Symphony President John Forsyte and Pacific Symphony board member Mildred García as well as leaders and board members from Cornerstone Theater Company (Los Angeles), Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana (San Jose), and San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.
