North Carolina’s Winston-Salem Symphony has announced the appointment of KENT WALLACE-MEGGS as chief philanthropy officer. Meggs has served as vice president/COO of Global Green USA; chief development officer for the social-service organization Bienvenidos; executive director of the in-school and after-school arts program Virginia Avenue Project; and in marketing/communications posts at the Los Angeles chapters of the American Red Cross and American Lung Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston (S.C.) School of Business Administration.
