Scavenger hunt: Utah Symphony’s photo contest for Deer Valley festival

Posted on: July 7, 2016

This month, the Utah Symphony is running “The Great DVMF Adventure,” a two-part social media photo contest in conjunction with the orchestra’s six-week Deer Valley Music Festival, which opened on July 2 in Park City, Utah. The first photo contest ran from July 1 to 5, and the second will run from July 15 to 18. Each contest includes interactive photo challenges encouraging participants to explore activities and attractions in Park City. After completing each challenge, participants submit photographic “evidence” through Instagram with the hashtag #DVMFadventure, then tag the Utah Symphony (@UtahSymphony) and include the challenge number to submit their entry. Prizes include concert tickets, a one-night stay at St. Regis Deer Valley, and a chairlift ride at Deer Valley Resort. The orchestra reports that the first social media photo contest last year proved a success and was expanded this summer into two parts.
