The Pacific Symphony, in California’s Orange County, has announced the appointment of JOSEPH MORRIS as principal clarinet. His concert debut with the orchestra is scheduled for July 23 at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. Morris has served as principal clarinet with the Sarasota (Fla.) Opera Orchestra and the Madison (Wis.) Symphony Orchestra. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, he received his training in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California and the Colburn School Conservatory of Music.
