Michigan’s Ann Arbor Symphony has named JENNIFER BALCH HALE director of development and donor services. She begins her duties August 1, 2016. Hale was most recently development director at Growing Hope, an Ypsilanti, Mich.-based organization dedicated to helping people improve their lives and communities through gardening. Hale has also served as development officer for the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, and in volunteer roles at such organizations as the Ann Arbor Youth Chorale, Friends of the Pioneer Choirs, and the YMCA.
