The Flint (Mich.) Institute of Music, parent organization of the Flint Symphony Orchestra, Flint School of Music, Flint Youth Ballet, and Flint Youth Theatre, has appointed RODNEY LONTINE president and chief executive officer. Lontine was most recently executive director and chief operating officer of the Museum of Outdoor Arts in Englewood, Colo. Prior to that he worked in advertising, as co-founder of the Colorado-based firm Garrison, Lontine Advertising. He is a graduate of Western State Colorado University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in fine arts.
