The Philly Pops in Philadelphia has announced several staff appointments: JETH MILL, senior director of programs and production; JOSEPH CROFT, contributed revenue coordinator; and KEITH OBAZA, program associate. Also announced were two promotions: JASON WARD to senior manager of engagement and SARAH MAIELLANO to assistant director of communications.

Jeth Mill has served as executive director of the Annapolis (Md.) Symphony Orchestra, the Windsor (Ont.) Symphony Orchestra, the Des Moines (Iowa) Symphony, Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra in Nebraska, and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic (Scranton, Pa.). He also worked for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in the area of pops programming. Mill is a graduate of Ohio University and studied business at Penn State University.

Joseph Croft, a graduate of Keystone College in northeastern Pennsylvania, goes to the Philly Pops following an apprenticeship in institutional giving at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre and a staff post at the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance.

Keith Obaza has worked as an audio engineer at various Philadelphia-area broadcasting organizations including WHYY, WXPN, and the Greater Media FM stations WMGK, WMMR, and WBEN. He is a graduate of Philadelphia’s Temple University.
