Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, a summer music festival in Katonah, N.Y., has appointed KATHY SCHUMAN vice president, artistic programming and executive producer, effective December 1. In this newly created post she will succeed Managing Director PAUL ROSENBLUM, who is retiring. Schuman was most recently with Carnegie Hall, where she spent fifteen years as artistic administrator. She had earlier served as associate director of the artist management firm Intermusica and as managing director of the European Chamber Music Association. Schuman began her career at Frank Salomon Associates, working for eight years as an artist manager and coordinator for the Marlboro Music Festival in Vermont.
