The Fort Worth (Tex.) Youth Orchestra has appointed LEE WARREN executive director. She succeeds WILLA DUNLEAVY, who retired August 1, 2016, after a decade in the post. Warren goes to Fort Worth following six years as executive director of the Jackson (Tenn.) Symphony Orchestra. Prior to Jackson she was executive director of the Dixie Carter Performing Arts and Academic Enrichment Center in Huntingdon, Tenn. She had earlier held posts as acting executive director of the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra; assistant manager of administration and community engagement at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra; managing and artistic director of education at the Oklahoma Arts Institute in Oklahoma City; director of education at the Louisville (Ky.) Orchestra; and dean of Colorado’s Aspen Music Festival and School.
