On Friday, October 7, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts will livestream A Day in the Life at Lincoln Center, a daylong Facebook Live broadcast featuring the eleven performing arts organizations resident at Lincoln Center in New York City. Highlights include appearances by pianist Lang Lang before his New York Philharmonic concert; New York City Ballet principal dancer Megan Fairchild; jazz pianist Marc Cary; Metropolitan Opera singers Ryan Speedo Green and Susanna Phillips; filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar; and more. The livestream begins with the Juilliard School’s morning drama warm-up class; subsequent events include advanced classes at the School of American Ballet, a tour of the Metropolitan Opera House, a rehearsal for the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and a visit backstage at the New York Philharmonic before a concert. The livestream will conclude at 10:30 p.m. with the curtain call of Lincoln Center Theater’s production of the musical Falsettos on Broadway.
