DAVID SOUTHERN and ADRIANA ROSIN have been named assistant concertmasters at the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, effective this season. The NJSO has also announced that NA-YOUNG BAEK, a member of the cello section since 2006, has been appointed acting assistant principal cello.

David Southern is beginning his fifth season as concertmaster of the Wilmington-based Delaware Symphony Orchestra, a post he will hold simultaneously with his NJSO duties. He has performed extensively as a chamber musician and is a violinist in the Amphion String Quartet.

Adriana Rosin has been a member of the NJSO since the 1986-87 season. She was a laureate in the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition and made her American debut at the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, where she was awarded a certificate of merit.
