The New Haven (Conn.) Symphony Orchestra has announced that 2016-17 will be ANI KAVAFIAN’s final season as concertmaster. A world-renowned violinist with a prolific career as recitalist, orchestral soloist, and chamber musician, Kavafian has held the NHSO post since 2008.
