The Louisville Orchestra Board of Directors has renewed ANDREW KIPE’s contract as executive director for three years. Named to the post in 2013 after serving as general manager of the Phoenix Symphony, Kipe has strengthened the Louisville Orchestra’s administrative team; overseen the launch of its Music Without Borders neighborhood concerts and a new website; expanded corporate sponsorships and individual donor support; and spearheaded development of a strategic plan that engages board members, players, and administrative staff. During his tenure the orchestra has seen substantial increases in ticket income and contributions.
