Michigan’s Interlochen Center for the Arts has announced the appointment of TREY DEVEY as president, effective June 12, 2017. He is currently president of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and will remain in that post through mid-April 2017. Devey, 45, has led the CSO since January 2009 and is also president of the Cincinnati May Festival. He was formerly with the Boston Consulting Group, and has held executive director posts with the Syracuse and Alabama symphony orchestras and the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra. Devey is a 1996 graduate of the League of American Orchestras’ Orchestra Management Fellowship Program. He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Bachelor of Music degree from Northern Illinois University.
