At the Garden State Philharmonic, serving central New Jersey’s Monmouth and Ocean counties, JAMES BUFFUM has been elected president, succeeding KENNETH J. MALAGIERE. The orchestra has also announced the appointment of ALLISON WALTER as managing director. She succeeds THOMAS STEPHENS, who has served as managing director for the last five years and now assumes a development consulting role with the orchestra.
