Nevada’s Las Vegas Philharmonic has appointed DAWN NEWBURG major gifts officer. She was most recently chief development and operations officer for Opportunity Village, a Las Vegas organization serving men and women with disabilities. Newburg had previously served as coordinator of the Senior Advantage program at the city’s Summerlin Hospital. She also worked in administration and program development at the American School in Japan and at the International School of Hong Kong. Originally from the Midwest, Newburg received her education at the University of Minnesota.
