American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra has announced the appointment of NAOMI GRABEL as its first chief executive officer, effective December 12. She is currently director of marketing and creative services at Carnegie Hall. Grabel was previously director of marketing and development at Australia’s Sydney Opera House, and before that held posts in Philadelphia as vice president of marketing and communications at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and as managing director of the Wilma Theater.
