Detroit’s Michigan Opera Theatre has appointed STEPHEN LORD to the newly created post of principal conductor. His contract extends through the 2018-19 season. Lord has been a frequent conductor at MOT since 2004, most recently for the company’s March 2016 production of Macbeth. He is also music director of Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, and will continue to hold that post.
