The Cleveland Orchestra has promoted two of its administrators, who will continue their respective duties while also sharing the responsibilities of general manager, a post that has been vacant since January 2016 and will not be filled. MARK WILLIAMS (pictured) has been promoted from director of artistic planning to chief artistic officer. JULIE KIM, formerly director of operations, is now senior director, operations and facilities. Williams’s added duties include orchestra management and oversight of personnel and libraries. Kim will oversee facilities and events management while continuing to supervise operations.
