“Lincoln Center has hired a new director of communications, who will oversee public relations and social media,” reports Susan Elliott in Tuesday’s (4/11) Musical America (subscription required). “She is Isabel Sinistore, most recently a senior account executive for Resnicow and Associates, a large New York-based communication/public relations firm. Sinistore’s clients have ranged from Rolex philanthropy to the Public Theatre, the Park Avenue Armory, and the Institute for Contemporary Art at Virginia Commonwealth University. In her public relations responsibilities, Sinistore, who starts April 24, succeeds Eileen McMahon, who left in August after 20 years in the job. She will oversee a staff of five and will report directly to Lincoln Center Chief of PR and Media Strategy Mary Caraccioli.… Prior to Resnicow, Sinistore held positions at MCC Theater, Playwrights Horizons, Sesame Workshop, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. She holds a BA in theater arts from Marymount Manhattan College.”
