Florida’s Artis—Naples has named three new Naples Philharmonic musicians effective in the 2017-18 season: RYAN LITTLE, principal horn; JANE MITCHELL, associate principal viola; and HUI-YING MA, section violin.

Ryan Little is assistant principal/utility horn of the Britt Music and Arts Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University and a master’s degree from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.

Jane Mitchell completes a three-year fellowship with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach this month. She earned a bachelor’s degree in music from Oberlin Conservatory and a master’s degree from the Yale School of Music.

Hui-Ying Ma, a native of Taiwan, holds a bachelor of music degree from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and a Graduate Certificate in performance from the University of Southern California. She is currently enrolled in the master’s degree program at Boston University College of Fine Arts.
