The American Composers Orchestra, based in New York City, has appointed VANESSA ROSE EarShot Program Manager and LYNDSAY WERKING as director of development.

Vanessa Rose will serve as EarShot recruiter and institutional liaison with participating orchestras and partner organizations. Her previous positions include executive director of the International Contemporary Ensemble, director of development at the Lark Play Development Center, and managing director of The Knights orchestra collective. Trained as a violinist, Rose studied at the Eastman School of Music, Mannes College of Music, and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Lyndsay Werking most recently served as managing director of the New York-based opera company American Lyric Theater. Previously, Werking held positions at OPERA America, Merkin Concert Hall, Glimmerglass Festival, and volunteered with the Prototype Festival and Young New Yorkers’ Chorus.
