Symphony Orchestra Augusta in Georgia has appointed DIRK MEYER music director. Meyer, a native of Germany, is also music director of Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and Lyric Opera of the North, both in Duluth, Minnesota.Previously he served as music director of Michigan’s Mason Symphony Orchestra and assistant conductor of the Traverse Symphony Orchestra.
