North Carolina’s Charlotte Symphony will host its first event for adult amateur musicians on May 20 at the Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts. Participants will rehearse music including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and selections from Bizet’s Carmen with the Charlotte Symphony and Music Director Christopher Warren-Green in the morning, followed by a free public performance for family and friends in the afternoon. In between, musicians are invited for a group lunch where they can mingle with orchestra musicians. Click here for more information.
