2017 marks the 75th anniversary of the League of American Orchestras, and the celebrations begin with League Giving Day on Wednesday, June 7.

The goal is to raise $75,000 in one day to commemorate 75 years of distinguished service and leadership to the orchestra field. Donations made on League Giving Day will support the League’s advocacy work, which is more critical than ever in conveying the unique value that orchestras provide to communities across this nation.

Matching support for League Giving Day is already in hand, so your contribution to the League on Wednesday, June 7 will have double the impact.

Supporting League Giving Day is simple:

• On June 7, 2017, between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST, donate online at americanorchestras.org/donate or make a pledge by e-mailing giving@americanorchestras.org with your intention to give.

• Send a check dated June 7, 2017 with “League Giving Day” in the memo line anytime between now and June 7, 2017.

• If you are attending the League’s National Conference in Detroit, the donor desk will be set up to accept gifts for League Giving Day.
