The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will perform a free outdoor concert at Point State Park on Monday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m., during the city’s annual Three Rivers Arts Festival of music, visual art, and family events. PSO Assistant Conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong will lead music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Haydn, Mozart, and Schubert. PSO Principal Piccolo Rhian Kenny and flutist Jennifer Steele will solo in Cimarosa’s Concerto in G major for Two Flutes. Kenny is actively involved with the PSO’s community engagement programs, speaking often to groups throughout the Pittsburgh region, and Steele is a volunteer for the PSO’s Early Childhood Pilot Project.
