The Charleston Symphony in South Carolina has announced that KEN LAM’s contract as music director has been extended for five years. Lam joined the Charleston Symphony during the 2014-15 season as music director designate and took on full responsibilities as music director in the 2015-16 season. He completes his second full season with the orchestra this month. Lam is the resident conductor of the Brevard Music Center in North Carolina, artistic director of Hong Kong Voices, and music director of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra.
