The Cleveland Institute of Music has announced three administrative appointments: AMY BRONDYKE as director of marketing and communications, DALE HEDDING as managing director of external affairs and patron engagement, and JERROD PRICE as associate dean of admissions and enrollment management.

Amy Brondyke goes CIM from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, where she served as director of marketing and external affairs for nine years. Prior to that, she was director of marketing for the Rochester Philharmonic for seven years. Earlier in her career, she worked for the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Grand Rapids Symphony, Alabama Symphony Orchestra, and Tulsa Philharmonic Orchestra. She is a graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

Dale Hedding most recently served as vice president, revenue enhancement practice leader, at the Washington., D.C.-based Arts Consulting Group, where he worked with organizations including the League of American Orchestras and Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival. Prior to ACG, he was vice president of development at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, director of development and volunteer services at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and worked in fundraising at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Hedding trained as a trombone player, performing with the U.S. Air Force Band of New England. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and an MBA in arts administration from SUNY Binghamton.

Jerrod Price has served as director of admissions and financial aid for Interlochen Center for the Arts for the past four years. Prior to Interlochen, Price was associate director for student affairs and director of admission at the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver. He has also served as an admissions counselor for the Shepherd School of Music, Rice University, and bursar and financial aid supervisor at Indiana University. A trumpet player, Price holds a master of music degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and a bachelor of music degree from the University of Akron.
