Applications are now open for the annual Emerging Leaders of Color Professional Development Program convening of the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF), set for November 13 to 15, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. The deadline for applications is August 31. Fourteen participants will be selected for the all-expenses-paid meeting, designed to promote multicultural leadership and equity in the arts. Candidates must have less than ten years of experience working as an arts administrator; self-identify as a person of color; be a current resident of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai’i, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington or Wyoming; and not previously have had an opportunity to participate in high-quality professional development sessions.
