Kynan Johns … holds a bachelor’s degree in composition and a master’s of music degree in conducting and was a major prize winner in the Dmitri Mitropoulos International Conducting Competition…. Tania Miller … marked her 14th season as music director of the Victoria (British Columbia) Symphony in 2015-16…. She earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in conducting from the University of Michigan…. Fawzi Haimor recently was named the music director designate of Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen in Germany after completing his tenure as a resident conductor of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both music and neurobiology, a master’s degree in conducting from UC Davis and a second master’s in instrumental conducting from Indiana University.”
