The New York Pops has announced the extension of Music Director and Conductor STEVEN REINEKE’s contract through 2022. Reineke began his association with the orchestra in 2008. The New York Pops performs an annual subscription series and gala at Carnegie Hall and a summer series at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY, as well as education and community engagement activities. Reineke is also principal pops conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and principal pops conductor of the Houston Symphony and Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
