The Austin Symphony Orchestra in Texas has announced the appointment of RACHEL SANTORELLI as public relations and guest artist manager. She goes to the Austin Symphony from her position as marketing director of Michigan’s Lansing Symphony, where she worked for the past six seasons. Originally from Texas, Santorelli has a B.A. in music from Florida State University and a masters degree in public relations/advertising from Michigan State University. Prior to the Lansing Symphony, Santorelli spent three years in the communications department of the Wharton Center for the Performing Arts at Michigan State University.
