The Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra in Texas is inviting Texans to record and share brief videos of memorable orchestral moments, as part of the WFSO’s 70th anniversary celebrations and the hiring of Music Director Fouad Fakhouri. The videos will be compiled in a publicly accessible online historical archive on the orchestra’s webpage. Select videos, along with archival footage and still images highlighting the WFSO’s history, will be edited into a video commemorating the Symphony’s 70th anniversary, which will be shown for the first time at the October 14 season-opening concert. Individual videos may also be posted on the WFSO Facebook page throughout the 2017-18 season. For more information click here.
