The Irving S. Gilmore International Keyboard Festival and Awards, based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has appointed CURTIS CUNNINGHAM director of marketing and public relations and ANDERS DAHLBERG director of operations.

Curtis Cunningham, a Kalamazoo resident, is the former vice president of Lawrence Productions, Inc., a film, video, and audio production company. He began his marketing career as a reporter for the Western Herald at Western Michigan University, and has worked as a promoter for Rose Records and associate regional sales manager at Windham Hill Records. He has served as the president for both Intercom, the Association of Communication Professionals, and the American Marketing Association of Southwest Michigan.

Anders Dahlberg, also from Kalamazoo, was senior underwriter and marketing manager at public radio station WMUK and artistic director for the Bullock Performance Institute at the Western Michigan University School of Music. Dahlberg is also assistant principal double bass in the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, a position he will continue to hold after he joins The Gilmore. He holds a doctorate of musical arts in performance and was previously a board member of Kalamazoo’s Stulberg International String Competition and an elected official of the Kalamazoo Federation of Musicians Union Local 228.
