Ohio’s Columbus Symphony Orchestra has appointed DENISE REHG to the newly created position of executive director. Rehg will manage the administrative functions of the CSO, working closely with Music Director Rossen Milanov, the board, and Chad Whittington, president and CEO of the Columbus Association of the Performing Arts (CAPA), which provides management and administrative services to several arts organizations including the Columbus Symphony. In her new position, she will work exclusively with the CSO. Previously, Rehg served as senior assistant vice president of leadership and major gifts for the United Way of Central Ohio. Her fundraising experience includes development positions with Dayton’s Victoria Theatre Association and Dayton Opera. She served as president and CEO at Culture Works, the arts fund for the greater Dayton region, before relocating to Columbus in 2010. Rehg holds a BA in English from Wright State University.
