The Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, based in New York City, has posted a 360-degree video showcasing its InsideOut concert experience, in which audience members sit onstage among the musicians. After launching InsideOut in 2016-17, the orchestra opted to perform all three of its 2017-18 programs using the format. The group’s next two concerts, themed to Halloween, are scheduled for October 28 at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, the orchestra’s performance venue in Manhattan. Repertoire will include Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique and Saint-Saëns’s Danse Macabre. A shorter concert geared toward children and families will take place at 2 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m. full concert for adults and older students. Click here to watch the 360-degree video.
