Camerata Pacifica has appointed AMY WILLIAMS as managing director. Williams will be the Santa Barbara, California-based orchestra’s first managing director, beginning her tenure on March 1, 2018. She most recently was director of artistic administration and education at the Santa Barbara Symphony. Williams has served on the Association of California Symphony Orchestras’ board of directors, and from 2007 to 2011 she was production and education manager with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. Williams received a doctorate of music arts from the Ohio State University, a masters of music from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a bachelors of music from Ithaca College. Adrian Spence is Camerata Pacifica’s artistic director.
