Following news earlier this month that the Australian classical music magazine Limelight was experiencing financial difficulties and suspending publication, the magazine’s publisher, Arts Illuminated Pty Ltd., announced Sunday at its website that “an interested party has come forward to work with the magazine’s staff to ensure the ongoing publication of the magazine and that the March issue … has been sent to the printer.” Arts Illuminated Pty Ltd. has published Limelight magazine for the past four years. The magazine stated that it expects its “longer-term future” to be settled within ten days, when a further announcement will be made. Jo Litson, the magazine’s editor said, “We have been incredibly heartened and touched by the many messages of support that we have received from readers, artists and arts organizations during this challenging time.”
